The Library houses 19 computers that are available for public use. 4 computers are located in our Teen Center, and are reserved for teenage users only. The other 15 computers anyone may use provided that they present a valid ID or current library card at the front desk. Users must be entered into the library's automated system before they can create computer reservations and must agree to the terms of our computer contract before each use. Any users who have fines on their account or expired cards will not be able to access the internet computers until their account is cleared.
Library card holders may use our computers a maximum 2 1/2 hours a day. The computers will log off after 2 hours, but users may make another reservation until their time allotment for the day has been maxed out. The computers will automatically shut down after 2 hours and are wiped clean - nothing the user has downloaded or saved will remain on the computer. This is to ensure the privacy and safety of all of our patrons. If patrons are unsure whether they will complete their work in time, the library recommends that they bring a flash drive to save their work on or email a draft to themselves.
The library does have wheelchair accessible computers as well as computers for children to use. Any child under 11 must be accompanied by an adult at all times while they use the computer. The computers are connected to our wireless printer - copies will be released to the printer after the patron has paid for them at the front desk. The fees to print are $0.25 per page for B&W and $0.50 per page for color.
